Heidi Montag recently returned from a very short stint in the jungles of Costa Rica for the hit summer reality show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! She has been hitting the highly critical talk show circuit and has been coy about whether she has or hasn’t done a photo shoot for the September issue of Playboy. She isn’t fooling anyone with her attempt at secrecy. In fact, there is no doubt that the photo session has already taken place. Her friend Kim Kardashian, a 2007 Playboy alum is taking some of the credit for Montag’s decision to strip down for the men’s mag.

Kim received a call from Heidi, who was looking for advice on whether she should take the plunge and reveal her bare body for the entire world to critique. Kardashian admits that she counseled her that it WAS the right thing to do and regaled her with stories about her own experience. We’re sure her new husband Spencer Pratt was also in favor of the career move.

We’ll just have to wait to see just how far she was willing to take things. Rumors indicate that the nudity was tasteful, which usually means veiled or strategically covered.
