Morgan Freeman and ‘granddaughter’ E’Dena Hines at “Dark Knight” premiere

Details are emerging about a 10-year-affair between Morgan Freeman and his 27-year-old step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines.

The alleged affair, which reportedly began when E’Dena was still a teenager, is said to be the catalyst behind Freeman’s divorce from his wife of 25 years, Myrna Colley-Lee.

Freeman’s affair with his step-granddaughter is also said to be the reason for his split from long-time mistress Mary Joyce Hays.

The 72-year-old actor and Myrna raised Hines, the granddaughter of his first wife, “since she was a little girl,” says a source.

“Myrna said E’dena told her that when she was a teenager, she and Morgan went to dinner at a friend’s house one evening. Both had been drinking, and when they returned home, Morgan attempted to have sex with her. They stopped just short of having intercourse,” a close family insider reveals to The Enquirer. “E’Dena explained to Myrna that she stopped Morgan from going any further.”

According to the source, Freeman was confronted by Myrna and agreed to leave the child alone, but insists the two sustained the relationship for years. Recently, Hines has been Morgan’s date to several events and screenings including the premiere of “The Dark Knight.”

“Nobody thought anything of it, because she would be introduced as his ‘granddaughter,’” says the family insider. “It’s not technically incest, because they are not related by blood…[but] Morgan is trying desperately to keep his divorce out of open court so all the shameful facts won’t become public.”

there are other stories about men that have sex with thier Nieces, granddaughters, etc. on a serious note ´what is wrong with men? we have to raise up our voices to stop this kind of situation, if not, our own children are not save from our fathers, grandfathers, cousines, nephews.

i am proud women have motherly feelings and never tried to have sex with any close relation including adopted child or stepgrand-child. but the men have to really stop this heartless character.

I really support the last post, Devil lives in the heart of some men, they can have sex with they mother.. But we should at the same time check and ask why the woman or female relation agree to have sex with them cos i believe the men aint forcing them.. Hi, I am from MS and this is very disturbing to hear. I was hoping that it was another rumor, which would eventually prove to be untrue. However, we have a situation where Mississippi is being misrepresented. There are some sick people in this world and unfortunately, these situations are universal.
