Jon & Kate Plus 8 Production Halted

Jon and Kate Gosselin continue to make headlines after the announcement on their reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 that they are getting a divorce.

The divorce papers were filed yesterday afternoon in Montgomery County, PA by Kate Gosselin.

TLC has halted production on the show, saying there is not enough footage to put together new episodes due to Jon and Kate’s marriage turmoil. The episodes that have aired so far this season were shot last minute and often not completed until the day of airing.

Next Monday’s show will feature clips of previous shows and will include some new footage, but there will be no new shows until August 3.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 has become TLC’s highest rated show, with 9.8 million viewers tuning in to the premiere in May. It has also boosted the ratings of the new show that follows it, “Cake Boss.”

My concerns are for their children. They talk about putting their children first, yet have failed to protect them. We know what state they live in, what their house looks like, the scenery of their town, not to mention the childrens names. I can’t help but worry for their safety and it brings me back to Dylan and Shasta whom were taken by a sex predator after he watched them for 3 days. They have exposed their special gifts from God, for money, which is hard to stomach as a mother. The soul of a child is the lovliest flower that grows in the garden of God
