Over the weekend former Dancing With the Stars and The Bachelor contestant Melissa Rycroft got engaged to Dallas insurance agent Tye Strickland.  The great looking couple have dated on and off for two years.

Rycroft calls Strickland her best friend.  After Melissa’s appearance on The Bachelor and a called off engagement to Jason Mesnick, the two rekindled their love.

Tye was an avid audience member of season 8 of Dancing With the Stars.  Rycroft’s dancing partner Tony Donolani told People, “He’s a great home-town boy, he will love her endlessly.”

This summer you can see Melissa on Good Morning America where she will be doing reporting for the show.
