While Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush cited their busy schedules as the reason for their recent break up, sources are saying not so fast!

Stripper/model/professional escort Carmen Ortega claims she has had a months-long affair with Bush, which included rendezvous in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Miami, and she is shopping her story — complete with X-rated texts, phone messages, and a video of herself in Bush’s house, to the highest bidder.

It has also been reported that Kanye West may have been the catalyst in the break up. According to a source, Kardashian had been receiving racy text messages from the hip hop artist.

“Reggie saw text messages on Kim’s phone from Kanye West and flipped out on her,” the source told Fox411.

“They realized there were trust issues on both sides, and couldn’t go forward,” the source said.

Corazon “Cory” Aquino Dead

Corazon Aquino, better known as “Cory” Aquino, died at a hospital in Manila on Friday at the age of 76.

Aquino, who became the first female president of the Philippines in 1986, was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2008.

“Cory” Aquino became an icon of democracy when she assumed the presidency in the “People Power uprising,” ending Ferdinand Marco‘s two-decade rule.

Aquino was reluctantly catapulted into politics after the 1983 assassination of her husband, Senator Benigno Aquino, Jr., who was a leading figure in the opposition of President Marcos.

Selected as Time magazine’s Woman of the Year in 1986, Aquino was also nominated the same year to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, losing out to Elie Wiesel.

Aquino served as the 11th president of the Philippines from 1986-1992.

Following the end of her term, Aquino retired to private life. She led the PinoyME Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists microfinance institutions through the provision of loans. She also oversaw social welfare and scholarship assistance projects through the Benigno S. Aquino Foundation, and good governance advocacy through the EDSA People Power Commission, and the People Power People Movement.

Actor Mark Wahlberg and his fiancee and long-time partner Rhea Durham were married at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 1 in an intimate 40 minute ceremony witnessed by 20 guests at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills.

The bride wore her hair loose and wavy and was dressed in a white strapless Marchesa dress with silver embroidery and Neil Lane diamond bracelet and earrings. The groom was dressed in a black suit and silver tie. The couple’s daughter Ella served as their flower girl, carrying a basket. The flowers were pink and purple roses.

They have been a couple since 2001 and have three children, Ella, 5, Michael, 3, and Brendan, 10-months. According to the actor, “It’s like we’re married anyway, but I finally feel like we’re ready to take the step and we’ll have success.”

Wahlberg, 38, was known as Marky Mark and became famous in his 1991 debut as a rap musician with the band Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. The accomplished actor has several upcoming film premieres; The Lovely Bones is scheduled to release on December 11, 2009 and Date Night is slated to premiere in April 2010.

Durham is a model who has appeared on the covers of several major fashion magazines, including French Vogue, Italian Marie Claire, ELLE and walked the runway in the 2001 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

In a recent interview Dunham said she has dipped her toes back into modeling recently but is more focused on her children than her career at this point. She said, “I love the traditions of family and home. Babies, kids, holidays–that’s what I’m good at.”

Cash For Clunkers Gets Additional $2 Billion in Funding

Just when things looked bleak for the short-lived Cash for Clunkers rebate program, the U.S. House of Representatives voted today to inject another $2 billion into the dwindling automobile trade-in bailout.

The program offers rebates to car owners who trade in their gas-guzzlers for more fuel efficient models. The initial plan was funded with $1 billion. Car dealers are reporting 250,000 car sales since the program went into effect on July 1, 2009, though claims were not processed until July 24. When word spread yesterday that the program might be stopped, people flooded car dealerships to get in on the program before it ran out of funding.

Participants must trade in a vehicle that is less than 25 years old, get 18 or less MPG and the car must be registered and insured for the past year without a lapse. Consumers will be given between $3,500 and $4,500 at the time they purchase their new vehicle, based upon the scrape value of the clunker – as determined by the dealership.

Cash for Clunkers, a program that was expected to last until November 1, has been a win-win for buyers, dealers and car companies. The program is being administered by NHTSA – see cars.gov website.

Now it is up to the Senate to give the additional funding a thumbs up on Monday.

Jessica Simpson is “bummed” about her split from Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who dumped her the night before her 29th birthday.

“I think when Jessica gets into a relationship, she thinks she is going to marry him and have babies,” a source told People magazine. “Every time she ends up with a boy, she is in the zone that it’s leading to marriage and babies. That’s how she’s programmed.”

“She’s in love with love,” said the source, also adding, “I guarantee when she was with John (Mayer) she thought she was going to marry John.”

According to the source, “It’s been tough for her. Tony had his eyes on everyone but her towards the end.”

Romo, 29, has been romantically linked to 22-year-old Natalie Smith, the daughter of the associate athletic director at Romo’s alma mater, Eastern Illinois University.

The source went on to say that Simpson’s closeness to her family took a toll on the relationship as well. “They are extremely close and when you date her, you date her family.”

Simpson is currently staying with her parents in their Encino home, and is taking some time to focus on herself. She recently teamed up with VH1 for a new reality show, “The Price of Beauty.”
