Michael Jackson’s death certificate has been released without a cause of death.  The coroner says that the singer’s brain is being held by investigators for testing.

The document was issued on Tuesday, July 7, 2009.  It says Forest Lawn Cemetery is a “temporary” disposition of the body.  Jackson’s final resting place is not known.

The death certificate lists Michael Joseph Jackson as a black, divorced, high school graduate who was a musician in the entertainment business for 45 years.  His residence is listed as his parent’s home in Encino, CA.

The information for the death certificate was given by La Toya Jackson.

Coroner Ed Winter said Jackson’s brain will be returned to the family once neuropathology tests are completed.
