Morgan Freeman, 72, plans to marry step-granddaughter E’Dena Hines, 27, after his divorce from second wife Myrna Colley-Lee is final, according to family sources.

E’Dena is the granddaughter of Freeman’s first wife.  He and Myrna have raised her since she was a little girl.

According to insiders, Freeman began a decade long affair with the girl when she was still a teenager, which was the catalyst for his divorce and his split from long-time mistress Mary Joyce Hays.

E’Dena has escorted the actor to several red carpet events over the years without raising eyebrows, because she was always introduced as his granddaughter.

Sources told the Enquirer that “Becoming Mrs. Morgan Freeman has been E’Dena’s goal,” and “Morgan has led her to believe that he wants to marry her.”
