Actress Bryce Dallas Howard has been tapped to replace Rachelle Lefevre as vampire Victoria in the third installment Twilight: Eclipse.

Quebec native Lefevre has committed to begin filming indie drama Barney’s Version with co-star’s Dustin Hoffman and Paul Giamatti on August 17, the same day Eclipse will begin filming in Vancouver.

Dallas Howard is the daughter of director Ron Howard.  She recently appeared in Terminator Salvation and Spider Man-3 and is married to Seth Gabel.  The couple have a two-year-old son Theo.

The second installment, Twilight: New Moon will premiere on November 20, 2009.
