Chicago Bomb and Arson investigators were summoned to Oprah Winfrey‘s Harpo Studios to investigate a suspicious dark-colored backpack with wire hanging out of it.
The backpack was found this morning around 6:00 a.m. in a flower bed outside the studio, according to News Affairs Officer JoAnn Taylor. She reported that there were no injuries and the studio was not evacuated.
Police are characterizing the incident as a “false alarm”.
