We would be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge the birthday of Barack Obama, the leader of the free world and the 44th President of the United States, who turns 48 today.

Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1961, when 43-year-old  John F. Kennedy held the nation’s highest office.  The White House isn’t planning anything big, unlike the Kennedy party, where Marilyn Monroe sang a sexy rendition of Happy Birthday, to the delight of the party-goers on May 19, 1962.
