Is Criss Angel dead?  Did Criss Angel die?  These questions are being Googled with a vengeance today, and thankfully they are apparently without merit.  Admittedly the illusionist hasn’t ‘tweeted’ for ten hours but give the guy a break….everyone needs a little down time.

His last Twitter message reported that he was at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace in Vegas and prior to that he stopped off at hot spot Tryst at the Wynn Hotel and Casino.

Actually the rumors were running rampant because of the season four final episode of Mindfreak that showed the magician trapped inside a car that explodes into flames – see video below.

Season 5 of his popular A&E network reality show premieres on Wednesday night, August 12 at 10pm/9pm central.  The 5-part event is being billed as The 5 Lives of Criss Angel Mindfreak.
