As was reported by this site earlier, The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck gave birth to her third child on Sunday.  Her new son, named Isaiah Timothy, joins big sister Grace, 4, and big brother Taylor, 21-months.

Hasselbeck’s co-host Sherri Shepherd wasn’t able to send her best wishes this week from the set of The View because they aren’t filming.  If you tuned in on Monday, like we did, you soon realized it was a rerun and Hasselbeck’s exciting event has gone unheralded by her co-workers…..that is until now.

Shepherd, who recently slimmed down and donned a swimsuit for the show, is taking advantage of her downtime to film her new sitcom Sherri.   She took time out to record a little congratulatory shout-out to her friend and co-host Elisabeth.

Sherri said, “I just want to give a shout-out to my girl, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Tim Hasselbeck.  Congratulations on Isaiah Timothy Hasselbeck!  Auntie Sherri can’t wait to come in and see her little nephew.  Give my love to Gracie and Taylor Thomas.  I love you.”

Shepherd also ‘tweeted’ that she won $50,000 for March of Dimes on Who Wants to be a Millionaire.  Congrat’s Sherri….well done.
