Michelle Obama Short Shorts Photos

Michelle Obama is taking heat for appearing in public in a pair of “short shorts.” The first lady was photographed wearing shorts at the Phoenix airport on Sunday stepping out of the presidential limo to board Airforce One en route to the Grand Canyon.

The Obamas spent the day at Grand Canyon National Park for a family outing. More pictures were snapped on their return to Phoenix as they descended the stairs of Airforce One.

This isn’t the first time the first lady has shown off her gams. She was seen walking Bo on the White House lawn on June 14th wearing a pair of longer shorts.

So what do you think? Is this much ado about nothing, or is it inappropriate attire for a first lady? Drop a comment and let us know.

Leave the Lady alone. She’s relaxing with family….maybe she should wear a suit to the Grand Canyon? Obviously the one reporting this is uneducated and has never been to the Grand Canyon. It’s hot in the summer…been there many, many times. Get off her back and let her enjoy time with her family.

This is so stupid. First of all, the shorts aren’t even THAT short!! Second of all, hello!! It’s summer time! She’s hot! Isn’t a first lady allowed to get hot? She was headed to the Grand Canyon, not a fundraiser. And anyone who thinks those shorts are “short”, has apparently not been near a high school lately. Those are long by most standards.

I think she looks great, comfortable and appropriatley dressed for visiting the Grand Canyon with her children.

I think that this is utterly ridiculous. Those aren’t short shorts, they are just shorts. Its sad that we still live in a world where a woman can’t wear a pair of shorts without prudish people complaining that they are too short, or that she is showing to much leg. Get a life people.

IMO its much ado about nothing. I guess what might tick some people off is the shortness of the shorts. I guess people expect bermudas or capri pants. Its kind of refreshing to see her dressing like us lesser mortals.

Michelle has no class. I am baffled by all the attention she is getting for her sense of style. What sense of style? She looks like an unmade bed. Since they have been in the White House, both of them have made so many bad decisions, Neither of them have any respect for the Presidency. I remember when JFK was President, a couple of us wore sleeveless blouses to school (and thus to Mass). Sister had a fit, she put towels around us, and it did no good to say Jackie wears them – but no one ever accused Jackie of having no class. Mechelle has class – the G.C. is hot in the summer. Also, whoever wrote about this and complained about it obviously didn’t come of age in the late 60’s early 70’s – no way are these short-shorts. I wore them and still have a pair (though one leg might fit in ‘em now) & short-shorts these ain’t.
