Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, 18, recently finished work on a film project on location in Tybee, Georgia and has reportedly been involved in a romantic relationship with his 16-year-old co-star Miley Cyrus both on screen and off.

The film, The Last Song, also stars Kelly Preston and Greg Kinnear.  The cast and crew were in the Nashville area for a wrap party on August 16.  Hemsworth stuck around for another three days, apparently spending time at the home of Cyrus and her family.

Miley has been sharing tidbits about her time with the actor on Twitter but took exception to reports that their relationship was anything more than friendship, ‘tweeting’ “Dumb blogs.  I do not have a boyfriend.”

Boyfriend or not, the teen singer was photographed in what looked like a romantic lip-lock with the Aussie at Nashville International airport, when she dropped him off to board his plane on August 19.

The Last Song is set for release on January 8, 2010.
