In March 2009 we reported that actress Heather Locklear would not be joining the cast of Melrose Place to resprise her role as Amanda Woodward.  We are happy to report that negotiations are underway that could signal her return for the CW version premiering this fall.

Locklear played a backstabbing ad executive on the original prime time soap opera television series that aired for seven seasons on FOX from 1992-1999.   Produced by the late Aaron Spelling, filming took place in Santa Clarita California.

Former cast members Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, Josie Bissett and Daphne Zuniga have already signed on.  Calabro is the only cast member that appeared during the entire run of the original series.
