Actress Melanie Griffith has checked into Cirque Lodge rehab facility in Utah.  Her rep, Robin Baum has confirmed this to People magazine along with a statement.

“She is there to reinforce her commitment to stay healthy.  This is part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctors years ago.”

This is Melanie’s third time seeking treatment for addiction.  Back in 2000 the star said, “My doctor has referred me to Daniel Freeman Hospital to step down from the prescription medication that I have been taking for a neck injury.”

Griffith is married to actor Antonio Banderas.  Shown with her in the recent photo below are daughters Dakota Johnson and Stella Banderas. She was previously married twice to actor Don Johnson.
