Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of former President George W. Bush and Laura Bush, has two part-time jobs beginning in September. She will be a reading coordinator at a Baltimore school and has also signed on to become a monthly correspondent for the Today show on NBC.

The shows executive producer Jim Bell admits he was quite impressed by the way the former ‘first daughter’ handled herself during several guest appearances on Today. The author of two books, Jenna, 27, was poised and confident during past show visits. Things went so well during one interview that her planned ten minute segment was stretched to a full half hour.

Bell expects that his new hire will cover a story on education as her first assignment, working out of NBC’s Washington bureau. She married Henry Hager in a beautiful sunset wedding ceremony in May 2008 – see wedding photos here.
