A Miss Universe choreographer gave an interview to Guanabee in which he claims that Donald Trump hand picked six of the finalists before any judging took place at the recent international pageant in the Bahamas – see photos here.

According to Michael Schwandt, the pageant owner “popped in before the telecast and we lined up all the girls in alphabetical order behind microphones.  And they said their name, age and country.  He basically walked by and had an assistant take notes on all the girls.  And it’s just kind of common knowledge that he picked six of the top fifteen single-handedly.”

Trump, who also owns the Miss USA pageant, claims to have adopted this practice because he fears that if he leaves the task solely up to the judges, some of the most beautiful women would not make it into the top 15 – something he claims has happened before he began making his own personal selections.  Apparently because he owns the organization, he has anointed himself ‘judge supreme’.

The judging process looks at how each contestant fares in swimsuit, evening gown and interview to determine who makes it into the finals.  That process has previously prevented some of the most beautiful women from making it into the Top 15 until ‘The Donald’ decided to take matters into his own hands.

One of Trump’s little headaches, first runner-up to Miss USA 2009 Carrie Prejean, launched a lawsuit yesterday against two Miss California USA pageant directors.  Check out her claims here.
