FUN 107 DJ Sharon Fogaren Santos, co-host of the J.R. and Sharon morning show, has died two weeks after suffering a heart attack. She was 44-years-old.
A native of New Bedford, Massachusetts, she earned a degree in Speech Communication from Bridgewater State College. She began her broadcasting career at WPEP-AM in Tauton and spent time at ABC 6 in Providence, RI. She also anchored and produced Your Health Matters television series that aired in Bristol County Massachutsetts.
A self proclaimed shoe addict, she enjoyed traveling, reading and shopping. She lived in Bristol County with her cat Marino.
The station posted a message on their website: "We thank everyone for their continued support, prayers, and we would like to continue her memory here on FUN107.com and we send our condolences to Sharon's family and close friends."
