Elton John to Adopt Ukrainian Baby
Sixty-two year old singer Elton John and his partner David Furnish are thinking about adopting a son from the Ukraine. While the two toured an orphanage recently, they fell in love with a baby boy named Lev.
Elton addressed the Ukrainian press and stated that Furnish has wanted to adopt for some time but John has always said no because of his extremely busy schedule. “But, having seen Lev today, I would love to adopt him. I don’t know how we do that, but he has stolen my heart. And he has stolen David’s heart and it would be wonderful if we could have a home. I’ve changed my mind today.”
Many of the children at the orphanage have lost their parents to AIDS. As part of Elton John’s AIDS Foundation work, he was there performing for the children.
Elton, may we suggest calling Madonna or Angelina Jolie – they surely could point you and David in the right direction.

Yay and a little nay.
A little nay because I’m thinking of my dear neighbours who can’t have a child and have been on the waiting list to adopt a child (handicapped) for 8 years now; They are’nt celebrities but just…you know…ordinary citizens who wake up at 5 every morning to go work, pay their taxes on time, spend their free time voluntering at our local soup kitchen plus they help me in emergency animal rescue projects,honest and caring people.They fear they’re getting older and the chances of them adopting keep diminishing every unsuccessful year that goes by.So congratulations Elton and David.Count your blessings darlings.
