Jessica Simpson’s Dog Daisy Snatched by Coyote

Jessica Simpson In-Store Signing at Dillards in Frisco, Texas - March 8, 2008

Jessica Simpson’s dog Daisy was snatched by a coyote while the pop star looked on.

Jessica took to her Twitter page asking for help:

My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!

Simpson also posted a picture of her dog on Twitpic, and posters in her Calabasas neighborhood, reading, “Missing Malti-Poo, (sic) carmel colored, reward offered,” with a note at the bottom that says, “i miss my mommy “Daisy” please email any info to findingmissdaisy@gmail.com”

Simpson has had Daisy for several years and rarely travels without the dog, who was a gift from her ex-husband Nick Lachey.

Unfortunately things don’t look good for Daisy.  My heart goes out to Jessica.

  1. This is horrible news. Turned my stomach and made me shudder and want to cry.Poor little dog.Jessica should have kept an eye on her dog.

  2. We had a cat taken by a coyote here in so cal.

Sad, yes, but we do live in a pretty wild semi-arid country area. You forget with Hollywood and LA, we are still living on the land. Coyotes, birds of prey, black widows, rattlesnakes.

My hand was a foot from a Mohave rattlesnake in our garden…. I moved real slowly and got animal control.

The best solution is to go to the pound and get a cross breed. Tiny dogs can be a quick lunch.

Best of luck finding the pooch, but at least it died naturally. Okay I’ll shut up I’, not making you feel any better, Jes. God Bless.
