Charlize Theron the Next Catwoman?
There may not even be a script in the works for the next installment of Batman, but actress Charlize Theron has reportedly in the running to be the next Catwoman, vying against some other hot contenders, including Megan Fox, Rachel Weisz and Angelina Jolie.
Don’t get too excited, Batman isn’t projected to hit theaters until 2011, but Charlize was thrilled to find out she was being considered for the role, “It’s news to me, but that’s kick-a*s news….I think what has happened to that franchise is amazing. (Director) Chris Nolan is a genius. I would be an idiot not to consider that part.”
Theron would be following in the footsteps of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry, who both donned the sexy tight leather suit on the big screen.

Between Megan and Angelina Charlize is the purrr fect alternative.
What about Jolene Blalock? Catwoman is supposed to be smart, so except for Rachel Weiss, I don’t think those others would be a good fit.
OMG Rachel Weisz would be AWESOME as Catwoman! I’ve always thought she would make a great “dark, disturbed” character. Hopefully the franchise will consider giving someone a chance to showcase a talent they’ve not otherwise been able to show, instead of going with a big-name celebrity like Angelina or Charlize who have already demonstrated their ability to do dark characters.
