Roman Polanski Counter-Petition
As Hollywood and the liberal media rally around Roman Polanski, in “outrage” over the “injustice” of his arrest for the rape of 13-year-old Samantha Gailey (now Geimer), a counter-petition calling for Polanski to be brought to justice is being circulated.

“While some of the biggest names in Hollywood have marshalled their money and power to seize the spotlight in favor of freeing a fugitive child rapist, we know that there are many in the entertainment industry who feel different and, as one friend put it, would like ”the rest of the country know that some of us in Hollywood have some morals.”
After Polanski was arrested in Zurich, producer Harvey Weinstein started a petition to free the 76-year-old director.
“Whatever you think about the so-called crime, Polanski has served his time,” says Weinstein.
So-called crime? Polanski (who admitted the crime), Hollywood, and the liberal media would have us believe that this was consensual sex, because Polanski “seduced” the 13-year old, or that Samantha’s “stage mother” is somehow responsible, despite testimony by Polanski’s victim that the sex was not consensual, and that she repeatedly told him no. The fact remains that she was THIRTEEN YEARS OLD. At the very least, provided the sex was consensual, that constitutes statutory rape — a crime.
A year after Polanski skipped bail and fled the U.S. (also a crime), he gave an interview, stating, “If I had killed somebody, it wouldn’t have had so much appeal to the press, you see? But… f—ing, you see, and the young girls. Judges want to f— young girls. Juries want to f— young girls. Everyone wants to f— young girls!”
And in a 2007 interview with “60 Minutes,” Polanski said, “She wasn’t unschooled in sexual matters. She was consenting and willing.” (View video below)
Ohhh, okay…a 13-year-old girl who had been plied with champagne and Quaaludes, didn’t put up enough of a fight, so she was “consenting and willing.” Silly me. What was I thinking? Let the poor guy off the hook.
Earlier this week, The View’s Whoopi Goldberg defended Polanski, saying, “I know it wasn’t ‘rape’ rape. I think it was something else, but I don’t believe it was ‘rape’ rape.” (Watch video)
“I think he’s sorry. I think he knows it was wrong,” said Goldberg.
Ohhh, okay…let’s just move on then…he’s sorry.
But the quote of the week (or possibly the decade) comes from Weinstein:
“Hollywood has the best moral compass, because it has compassion,” Weinstein said. “We were the people who did the fundraising telethon for the victims of 9/11. We were there for the victims of Katrina and any world catastrophe.”
Seriously?
Fortunately, support for Polanski is not universal, and there are still some in the entertainment industry who understand that the rape of a 13-year-old girl is a crime, not to mention skipping bail and fleeing the country.
“This is a man who I love a lot and know a little bit,” said Luc Besson — a prominent French film director, producer, and friend of Polanski, in a radio interview. “Our daughters are good friends. But there is one justice, and that should be the same for everyone. I will let justice happen.” He added, , “I don’t have any opinion on this, but I have a daughter, 13 years old. And if she was violated, nothing would be the same, even 30 years later.”
Applause, applause!

Boy oh boy, even *I* don’t say “liberal media” that much….
Apropos the Roman Polanski saga, please consider the manner in which an American university (NJCU) and the American Anthropological Association (AAA) dealt with the following story:
From Ken Good’s “Into The Heart” (see Amazon reviews) page 121. “And now, suddenly, out of a clear blue sky, I had a Yanomama “wife” — a wife of sorts, anyway. And not only a wife, but Yarima no less, who couldn’t be more than twelve years old.”
Because of “Into The Heart” and only because of “Into The Heart,” Ken Good received a tenured faculty position at New Jersey City University — where he now teaches anthropology students that his marriage to a child “constitutes legitimate anthropological research.” And in return for his having charged me with having violated his “civil rights” (an ongoing investigation — for the past two years, by the New Jersey Attorney General) he’s only required to be in the classroom two days a week, for just six hours. He attends no departmental meetings, he just promotes his book (which he requires his students to purchase — in violation of NJ law) while the AAA does nothing.
What prompted the Attorney General initiate this investigation? I had proven that the President of New Jersey City University had used fraudulent academic credentials while in the process of becoming the university president.
Good’s accusation of my having violated his “civil rights” was the NJCU President’s method of getting rid of me — and it worked –I retired in July 2008.

Proyect states that Good’s marriage was consummated when Good’s wife was 15, but in Good’s book, (Simon & Schuster’s “Into The Heart” page 121) Good recorded that he married Yarimi when she was only twelve.
Why this obvious violation of a child continues to be premitted — under the guise of research — while Roman Polanski is being routinely condemned, is clearly a matter of racism.
From the orignal publication of “Into The Heart” I can send you multiple photos of Yarima (Good’s wife) “topless” (child porn? Probably not because they are of a third-world child, and that doesn’t count) and of Ken Good, together with Yarima, in their “matrimonial hammock” (Yarima “topless”).
