Kate Gosselin Parenting Skills ‘Iffy’ (Video)
We watched a video this morning on TMZ and had a hard time justifying Kate Gosselin’s parenting “skills.”
We can only imagine what it would be like to have eight kids, yep that is a boatload. But, to expect your five-year-old’s to stand still and be quiet at all times is well…crazy!
Here’s what went down. Kate met her children at the bus after school. They were herded up by her SUV, while the children waited for her to get the backseat emptied so they could get in (advance planning would have worked well here Kate). The children start to talk and move their feet a little and that doesn’t go over well with Kate. One kid does a little spin and that isn’t appreciated either.
In the video you can hear a lot of annoying shhhhh’s and then Kate interjects that it is not acceptable for them to talk because they are five-years-old now and that they need to stand quietly.
The whole scene is a near carbon copy of a spoof video she did recently on the Jay Leno Show – where she treats several photographers like they were her naughty children – check it out here.

You’re not serious here, right? Tell me what really was wrong with making your children stay still in a parking lot? Obviously, this story is written by a single person or someone just needing a story. Give it a break!
i watched that video. i did not think that was bad at all. i think it is very responsible to have her children stand still and quiet in a crowded parking lot. i actually have my boys (i have 2) when they get out of the car or after we are done shopping put their hands on the car and stand there. cars are flying by, people are flashing pictures and shouting…. all “jon and kate drama” aside, how can you berate her for being a responsible parent?
8 kids talking at the same time is enough to drive anybody crazy.
They are in a parking lot. I also would want my children to be quite and stand still untill I could get them in the car and safe from other moving cars. I have five and it is not always easy to get them where they need to be and not safe for them to cut up in a parking lot. A little movement and talking for young children leads to a lot, fast. Been there.
I’m sure it’s very rough on this horrible mom to have all that money and extra help and undeserved fame!! Poor woman!! What did she expect when she first had all those kids and second signed up for all of the attention. I wish i could exploit my family for millions of dollars. How about rewarding the people who make it through life who actually have real problems? I would love to see all of her money go to the families who are more deserving, like the ones from “Intervention”. What a terrible woman!
