Elizabeth Lambert New Mexico Soccer Player Suspended (VIDEO)

New Mexico soccer defender Elizabeth Lambert has been suspended indefinitely from all team practices, competition and conditioning activities after punching Carlee Payne in the back, kicking the ball into the face of another player and violently yanking Kassidy Shumway to the ground by her ponytail.
The incidents in question occurred during a Mountain West women’s semifinal soccer game between Brigham Young and New Mexico on Thursday, November 6. Surprisingly, Lambert remained on the field, receiving a single yellow card from referee Joe Pimentel near the end of the game for tripping a BYU player.
Video of Lambert’s numerous transgressions went viral and perhaps prompted her to say, “I am deeply and wholeheartedly regretful of my actions….I let my emotions get the best of me in a heated situation…This is in no way indicative of my character or the soccer player that I am.”
For the record, BYU won 1-0, extending their unbeaten streak to 15 games.

The video shocked me, how could somebody be so blatantly trying to hurt somebody and still be in the game? not good.

For her actions this person should be put in jail.
She is shamless and arrogant, good that she was suspenden for life.
I think i am in Love
For whatever reason, I think it’s incredibly hot.
I think American NEED to educate their player how to play soccer!
This story begins thus: “New Mexico soccer defender Elizabeth Lambert has been suspended indefinitely from all team practices, competition and conditioning activities after punching Carlee Payne in the back, kicking the ball into the face of another player and violently yanking Kassidy Shumway to the ground by her ponytail.”
In fairness to Lambert we should acknowledge that the consensus in the fourth estate is that the kicking of the ball into the face of the fallen BYU player at point-blank range, either deliberate or carelessly “accidental” and a few seconds after Lambert tripped the same BYU player, was committed not by the celebrated student of occupational therapy but by one of her colleagues—I’ve read that it was Rachel Fields, but I’m willing to be told that it was a different colleague. The fourth estate has been vague about such details.
She should be prosecuted for what she did, and each girl she assaulted on the field should sue her. She is a pathetic bully who does not know the meaning of sportsmanship. How proud her parents must be.
Leigh I’m willing to tell you that no it was not midfielder, Rachel Fields, that either dileberately or carelessly kicked the ball at point blank range into the face of the fallen BYU player. It was a UNM defender that was doing her job clearing the ball. It’s really irresponsible to put a player’s name on here and accuse when you don’t have the facts correct.
