Chris Brown Blackballed By Retail Stores

Chris Brown Walmart

Singer Chris Brown is still feeling the repercussions of his actions nearly a year after physically beating his former girlfriend Rihanna.  While in New England over the weekend, Brown went into a Walmart and couldn’t find his new CD “Graffiti” on the shelves.

Like most celebrities, Chris took his frustration to his Twitter page: “im tired of this s–t.  major stores r blackballing my cd.  not stockin the shelves and lying to custumers. what the f–k do i gotta do.”  Knowing that his ‘tweet’ would be published all over the news — he added, “yeah i said it and i aint retracting s–t, im not biting my tongue about s else…”

New England is not the only place keeping Chris’s album off store shelves.  New York Daily News reported that several music stores in Manhattan are also banning his album.  Chris provided them with this little gem, “the industry can kiss my a–.”

What made Brown do some investigating?  Fans were complaining to the singer about not being able to find the CD.  The Wallinford, CT Walmart manager was the bearer of the bad news to Brown about his store not stocking his tunes.  Chris said, “When there are new releases, its mandatory to put em on the shelves.  BUT NO SIGN OF GRAFFITI.”

What do you think?  Is he being targeted?

  1. First of all Chris is a entertainer just like Bobby Brown, Whitley Houston, and the late may she rest in peace Left Eye. Yes he made a mistake but everyone does. Bobby and Whitney were all over the news about their drug habit (everybody knows Whitney was not that skinny and on that many drugs if any before Bobby Brown got a hold to her), and Left Eye burned down a man’s house. I do like everyone I mention and I love their music. My point is this, yes, Chris may have hit and/or bit Rihanna but no one truly knows what caused it to happen. I like Rihanna too. However what if she hit him first or said something about his mother (that’s what a few people have said). I mean you can’t expect some one to allow a person to hit them and not hit back, (and you should never talk about a persons mother). I am a woman and I know how we work, we like to antagonize or partners and pick and even hit and some of us hit them like a man would hit another man. I believe in equal rights, eye for a eye, if you hit me I’m going to hit you back harder. The other thing is this I don’t care what Rihanna says or Chris says those two still love each other and probably still want to be together, but are afraid too. They afraid to because of everyone else and it goes a little something like this and this is probably what they are saying to themselves. “I do still love and want to be with Chris, but I don’t want my family, friends and fans to look down on me, I really wish I would have said something else happened so everyone wouldn’t know that he hit me” then this “I really still love her and would try to be with her again I really am sorry for doing what I did and if given another chance I wouldn’t do it again, I would probably just walk away or just ignore the antagonize, the picking , and her putting her hands on me first, however I know she isn’t going to take me back because of what people will think”. Actually I say this F*** what people say if they love you they would be happy for you and the person you are wanting to be with regardless. If they were your friend then they should still be your friend after. Also if they liked your music before they should still like it. That’s one of the things wrong with America and other Countries today, everybody wants to throw stones. Why don’t you just be happy for a person. I can almost guarantee not everyone has a perfect relationship and if you want to get close to a almost perfect relationship you have to work at it. You can’t just give up because of a few mistakes or because people say you should. Yes being a role model is a great thing, but also in being a role model you should also show that nobody is perfect and yes people make mistakes and it’s ok to forgive them. Now if it continues to happen that’s when you get like Madea and play you some grit ball (well not really, you shouldn’t want to bodily harm someone) you get my point though I hope. Really I feel that if they still are in love regardless what PEOPLE say they should try at it again. You should think as public as that went and as much damage as that did to his career for a while (which I still loved him as a person and his music regardless of his actions) I doubt he will do the same thing. Rihanna and Chris are to public why would he do it again. Why would people take him off the market, pull his parts of videos off because of that. Yes again I will say he made a mistake but he is still one of the best entertainers out there, they shouldn’t punish his fans, friends and his family. Goodness grow up lets be grownup about this. I’m sure you all have heard the saying hate the player not the game, “well you can hate on his actions but don’t hate his music, his music didn’t do anything wrong. That’s my two cents. Chris and Rihanna I love you both as people I am a really big fan to both of you I wish you guys all the best. Chris keep your head up and those feet moving and Rihanna don’t let people make you have second thoughts because of what they may think of you. You are only human. Oh yes FYI I did Love Left Eye so I wasn’t downing her at all and the same with Whitney and Bobby.
