Francis Bean Cobain Gets Court Appointed Legal Guardians (PHOTOS)

Courtney Love has lost custody of her daughter, at least temporarily. The Superior Court of Los Angeles has appointed two legal guardians to oversee 17-year-old Frances Bean Cobain‘s personal and financial well-being effective December 11, 2009.
The court has appointed the teenager’s paternal grandmother Wendy O’Conner, and her aunt Kimberly Dawn Cobain to care for the girl.
Francis Bean was photographed shopping in Manhattan on her birthday – pics here. She will reach legal age in August 2010.
It is unclear what has become of Love, though her past drug addiction issues may have resurfaced. In any case, the courts have ruled that for now she has been deemed incompetent, and therefore not able to provide the proper care for her daughter.
Love’s lawyer and friend Keith Fink told RadarOnline, “All I can tell you as Courtney’s friend is that she loves her daughter more than anything in the world. Courtney will no doubt do what is best for Frances and will surely take her teenage daughter’s desire and feelings into consideration with respect to the legal guardian issue.”
Courtney previously lost custody of her daughter in 2003, following her arrest for burglary, followed by a drug overdose that was believed to be a suicide attempt.
The court proceedings from the hearing last Friday have been sealed by the judge.

Courtney never matured and has horrendous taste and great mental struggles with reality. Francis Bean is better off without her, as much as Courtney needs someone to truely love her and watch over her.. but, that person should not have to suffer her nonsense or have to be manipulated everyday of their life.
