Rapper T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., was released from Forrest City Federal Correctional Complex in Arkansas last Tuesday and has already headed back into the studio to work.

Although T.I. isn’t completely free…he was released to a halfway house close to his home in Atlanta. He will spend the next 366 days of his sentence at Dismas Charities Atlanta West, where he is allowed to leave the facility during daytime hours to work.

Music exec Kevin Liles posted a message on his Twitter page stating that new T.I. music will soon be on the way.

“My right hand (T.I.) went home to visit family & found his way to the studio. He said, ‘Why wait for 2010, get it in now.’ Love the attitude.”

That seems pretty lenient that he is also allowed to swing in to see family when he is under ‘house arrest’. He will have 500 hours of community service to complete when he is sprung in another year.

We can’t wait to hear the rappers new songs, which will likely reflect his time spent behind bar.
