Artie Lange Stabs Himself Nine Times in Suicide Attempt
According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange stabbed himself nine times in an apparent suicide attempt.
As we reported earlier this week, Lange was hospitalized for an undisclosed medical condition.
According to a law-enforcement source, Lange’s mother called police Saturday morning after finding her son bleeding in his Hoboken, N.J. apartment. Lange sustained six “hesitation wounds” and three deep plunges.
Despite heavy bleeding, surgeons were able to save the Hoboken native.
Lange, 42, who has battled drug addiction, has been absent from Stern’s radio program for a month.
