Does it seem odd to anyone else that actress Lisa Rinna is shielding her daughters from reality star Heidi Montag and her new look?  When the January issue of People magazine arrived at Rinna’s home, the actress tore the cover off so that her children wouldn’t see the photo of Heidi after her plastic surgery transformation that involved a total of 10 separate procedures.

Lisa told Fancast.com, “We have two girls, I don’t think it is something you want to bring into the house and say, ‘Oh, look.’”

For the record, the actress has clarified on her Twitter page that she did not slam Heidi’s surgical procedures in any way.  She ‘tweeted’, “I apologize to Miss Montag if my words were taken and used against her in the press.  I did not slam her or her surgeries for the record.  I believe to each his own and live and let live!  Yes we can have our opinions and be who we are, just gotta be careful with that and the world wide web!  Lots of talk on this subject today!”

We are thinking that is probably a good thing, since it seems that Rinna’s looks have changed from time to time.  She has talked extensively about her breast implants, collagen enhanced lips, Juvederm and Botox.  Sounds like a double standard.
