Julia Mancuso, a veteran Olympian who debuted in Salt Lake City in 2002 and won gold at Torino in 2006, is finding the Vancouver Games of 2010 to her liking as well. She is competing in five disciplines and has already scored silver medals in Women’s Downhill and Super-Combined, giving her the distinction of having won more Olympic medals than any female American Alpine skier.

The 25-year-old, dubbed ‘Super Jules’ by her teammates, captured gold in Giant Slalam at the 2006 Torino Olympics. A plastic tiara became her trademark during those games – given to her by her coach for good luck.

Julia has since turned that talisman into a business venture with her new lingerie line Kiss My Tiara. Mancuso models her line of lingerie and playfully remarked, “I think underwear is my calling. You can be feminine and fast.”

The Olympic champion has two more events in the Vancouver Games. She will compete on Saturday, February 20th in Women’s Super-G and on Wednesday, February 24th in Giant Slalam.

Mancuso’s biggest competitor in the remaining events is her teammate Lindsey Vonn, who took gold in Women’s Downhill. See her Sports Illustrated bikini photos here.

Snowboarder Scotty Lago, a bronze medalist, got into some hot water over some controversial photos.
