Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade
NBA star Dwyane Wade's estranged wife, Siohvaughn Wade, is suing her husband's girlfriend Gabrielle Union on behalf of her two sons.
Siohvaughn claims her husband's relationship with the actress is causing herself and the Miami Heat guard's two sons (8-year-old Zaire Blessing Dwyane Wade and 2-year-old Zion Malachi Airamis Wade) emotional distress.
Among the allegations in the lawsuit, Siovaughn claims Gabrielle "engaged in sexual foreplay" in front of the children, which "severely inflicted the Plaintiffs emotionally and mentally."
Dwayne Wade has issued a statement saying:
"I am shocked that Siohvaughn Wade has brought this baseless and meritless lawsuit in the name of our children against Gabrielle Union."
Wade adds, "I am deeply saddened and disappointed that Siohvaughn has used our sons once again as pawns and is now lashing out at Gabrielle, who is an innocent party. It is clear that this is a desperate attempt to retaliate against me for seeking sole custody of our children and requesting that the court have her undergo a psychiatric examination."
Wade concludes, "My primary concern is my children and actions such as this only inflame the situation and are harmful to their well being.”
Dwyane and Siohvaughn (maiden name Funches) were high school sweethearts. Their ongoing divorce battle began in 2007. In 2009, Wade sued his estranged wife and two of her lawyers over accusations that he had given her herpes through an extramarital affair and for alleging that he had abandoned his children.
