Debrahlee Lorenzana Claims Citibank Fired Her for Being ‘Too Hot’ (PHOTOS)

Debrahlee Lorenzana has filed a lawsuit against Citibank claiming they fired her for being too hot.

The 33-year-old curvaceous Puerto Rican, who is 5′ 6″ and weighs 125 pounds, claims she was fired from her job at Citibank in New York because she was too distracting to her fellow employees.

Lorenzana told the Village Voice, “Where I’m from women dress up—like put on makeup and do their nails—to go to the supermarket… I was raised very Latin. We’re feminine. A woman in Puerto Rico takes care of herself.”

Lorenzana alleges in her suit her bosses told her that “as a result of the shape of her figure, such clothes were purportedly ‘too distracting’ for her male colleagues and supervisors to bear.”

Debrahlee also says she was ordered to stop wearing turtlenecks, pencil skirts, three-inch heels, or fitted business suits. Lorenzana pointed out female colleagues whose clothing was far more revealing than hers: “They said their body shapes were different from mine, and I drew too much attention,” she claims.

Lorenzana signed a mandatory arbitration clause as a condition of employment so her case will be decided by an arbitrator rather that a judge or jury.

  1. Debrahlee Lorenzana is absolutely pleasent on the eyes but business is business and Citibank is only showing their foolishness as usual. It is not enough that they do not know how to handle money and the tax payers have to bail their butts out, now they do not know their people. God Bless you Debrahlee, you will make more money away from these buttheads.

  2. I think she needs to learn to read. I’m sure the pink slip read “too skanky” for work.

  3. omg! MARRY ME! WOW! Latin women are so freaking hot!

  4. Going through her pictures,i honestly do not see anything fantastic that she claims the bankers in citibank are hassassing her about.the bank manager was calling her to observe the dress code obviously because she was not following the dress code, which she definately wasnt following by the look of tight fitting blouses and dresses showing her clevages..a bank is a respectable business environment, not a hotel,it should be given some decency and respect.citibank wont have to pay a penny if they can get a good lawyer or hire me..after all,,the bank has a dress code which should be followed.
