Nicolas Anelka Sent Home from World Cup
France striker Nicolas Anelka was kicked out of the World Cup Saturday after launching a tirade of obscenities at coach Raymond Domenech.
Anelka reportedly told Domenech to “go screw yourself, dirty son of a w—e” in the dressing room during halftime of the match against Mexico.
French Football Federation vice-president Noel Graet issued a statement on France’s RTL radio, saying “Faced by the refusal of the player to publicly apologize, he (FFF president Jean-Pierre Escalettes) took the decision in total agreement with the coach and the official members of the delegation present in Knysna to exclude Nicolas Anelka from the squad. He will leave the French team camp this evening.”

Such a excellent blog you all have going. I love the mixture of excellent and specific info together with a few intellectual thoughts. It’s great to at last come across excellent content where I think I could trust the text and respect those who which publish it. With all the net waste these days I always value uncovering some true presences on the web. Thank you for posting and keep writing, please!!
Good riddance! He may be hunky but he’s an arrogant overpaid over rated & troublemaker wherever he goes. This is not the first time he’s been rude to a coach or official.Domenech always took Anelka’s defence & even chose him to be on the World Cup team despite the reluctance of other officials wary of Anelka’s big head.Well look at how Anelka shows his gratitude.French TV have even taken away ads with him in it.He’s let everyone down.Once again!
