Nearly every underdog claims they are prepared to shock the world and last night that is actually what happen in the most spectacular upset in MMA history.
Things looked grim right from the opening seconds as the Brazilian was dropped in the first significant exchange between fighters in the bout. After a devastating loss, Fedor's record now stands 32-2 with 1 no contest. Afterward, he admitted he got a little too focused on trying to put Werdum away. Reflecting on the loss and his future, he said: "I was made into a kind of an idol. I'm a normal human being as all of us, and if it is God's will, the next fight I will win."
