Serena Williams won her fourth Wimbledon singles title and 13th Grand Slam championship in straight sets against Vera Zvonareva. The defending champ beat the 12th-seed Russian 6-3, 6-2 in 67 minutes on Saturday, July 3, 2010.
Williams served up a total of nine aces, broke three times and never faced break point. She added another victory to her 2002, 2003 and 2009 championships. It is the first time she has defeated someone other than her sister Venus Williams in a Wimbledon final.
Between the sisters, they have now won nine of the last 11 Wimbledon titles — a clear case of Williams domination!
Venus caused a stir at the Australian Open earlier this years with her see-through underwear. She wore similar undergarments at the French Open. Serena recently hit the beach in Malibu – bikini pics here.
