Whoopi Goldberg: President Obama on ‘The View’ (PHOTO, VIDEO)
Whoopi Goldberg made two interesting announcement this morning from her post as co-host of The View. The first big scoop is that President Barack Obama will be a guest on the popular ABC morning show Thursday, July 29.
The second tidbit is that Barbara Walters, who continues to recover from heart valve replacement surgery, will be on hand for the momentous occasion. Based upon her expertise, she will undoubtedly take the lead during the interview.
The big deal, according to Whoopi, is that it will mark the first time that a sitting president has appeared on a day-time talk show. The women of The View have previously hosted candidate Obama, and enjoyed being on a first name basis with him at that time. Sherri Shepherd, Joy Behar, and Elizabeth Hasselbeck acknowledge that this time around it will be decidedly more formal.
The ladies were nearly giddy with anticipation, and joked about the distinguished looking secret service agents who will be swarming the set and performing pat-down body searches.

You would think he has better things to do….but probably not on that day…because that is the SAME day that the (white house lead) LAW SUIT , is being announced about the immigration bill in AZ…coincidence? I think not. He thinks Americans are stupid and while he tries to divert attention away from that, Our celebrity in chief, should stay home and take care of the country for once and stop the damage control press run. I guess you had the same sentiment for President Bush when he initially evaded the Katrina catastrophe in 2005. Please be an equal opportunity critic and not an Obama Basher just for the sport of it…

Why is it when anyone says ANYTHING about Obama that is the truth, they get called bashers? Did you know Gigi,THAT President Bush was the one that forced the state of LA evacuate people when they were dragging their feet during Katrina and the only reason he didn’t go immediately after was to avoid the emergency personnel from being diverted from cleanup to security patrol. Why don’t YOU get educated and not defend a man that is obviously NOT doing what he took an oath to do.
