Diablo Cody, the Oscar winning screenwriter and wife of Chelsea Lately staffer Dan Maurio, announced the birth of their first child via Twitter last night.

She ‘tweeted’: “We had our boy early this morning!  Marcello Daniel Maurio, 7lbs, 2 oz, lightly mustachioed.”

The talent writer, born Brook Busey, penned the 2008 hit “Juno” and the Megan Fox flick “Jennifer’s Body”.  She is reportedly working on a film adaptation of the Sweet Valley High book series.
