Could be trouble in paradise for Alicia Keys.  The singer may have just inherited a lot more than her happily-ever-after promises.  It seems that her new husband super producer Swizz Beatz owes the government a whole lot of money.

The couple, who wed last week, should be celebrating but it looks like the party may be short lived.  Over the past seven years Swizz, legally known as Kasseem Dean, has racked up 35 tax liens and over $4 million in unpaid taxes.  While the rapper is making an effort to pay off his debts, he still owes $2.4 million….definitely not a good start to a marriage.

We wonder if new wife Alicia was aware of her hubby’s financial woes.  The couple has had their fair share of public drama in the past, with Swizz not being legally divorced to his first wife before he began courting Ms Keys.

Alicia and Swizz are expecting their first child together in November.
