Last week rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle were arrested on drug charges and now AXE, maker of products for men, is considering dropping the entertainer as their spokesman.

A rep for AXE acknowledged that they are troubled by T.I.’s arrest and are currently looking into their promotional activities with the rapper.

T.I. was released from prison earlier this year after spending time for weapons charges.  Everyone assumed the rapper would use that time to forge a plan for improving his life and reputation.

AXE believed him when he said that he was “working to become a more positive role model.”  In all likelihood they will replace him before he goes back to jail for violating his probation.

T.I.’s movie Takers released last month and did well at the box office.  Our own Danni Starr attended the Hollywood premiere and had a chance to interview T.I. and the rest of the cast.
