Model Tiffany Livingston was taken into federal custody on Thursday after attempting to open an airplane door on JetBlue Flight 522 in route from Orlando to Newark.

The 21-year-old reportedly jumped out of her seat and tried to open a door midway through the flight after encountering a patch of turbulence. Two off-duty cops who happened to be aboard the flight subdued the Rhode Island brunette until she could be taken into custody on the ground.

Livingston told investigators that it was merely a case of high-anxiety, a medical problem that the model has experienced previously.

She reportedly has been prescribed medication for panic attacks but did not have it with her during the trip. According to authorities, charges are still pending against Livingston.

Tiffany began modeling in 2008, with photo shoots in Paris, Barcelona, Tokyo and Hong Kong. The 5’6″ brunette from Merrimac, RI was featured on the cover and in a centerfold for the Singapore version of Playboy, called VIP, in its 2009 debut edition.

Just a few weeks ago, flight attendant Steven Slater did bail out of a JetBlue plane.
