Jennifer Grey, best known for her role as Baby in Dirty Dancing, sent a tremor across the land when she underwent rhinoplasty in the early 90′s.  Her fans were indignant that the gorgeous actress would so alter her appearance that even her friends didn’t recognize her after the procedure.

She remarked: “I went in the operating room a celebrity — and came out anonymous.  It was like being in a witness protection program or being invisible.”

The 50-year-old has joined the ABC cast of Dancing with the Stars.  Season 11 kicked off last night and she and her pro partner Derek Hough ended up at the top of the leaderboard with their sensual Viennese waltz, performed to the strains of These Arms of Mine from Dirty Dancing.
