The Times Square icon Naked Cowboy, aka Robert John Burck, is known for hanging out in his underwear and playing his guitar. Now he’s doing a career 180 and has decided to run for the highest office in the land – as in President of the United States.
To show his seriousness in the matter, he has cut off his trademark long hair and put on a business suit to announce his campaign intentions for the 2012 election cycle. Cowboy told TMZ that he has a “very conservative policy” and an “unapologetic commitment to our borders, our language and our culture.”
Did you know that if you are looking to get married in Times Square, Naked Cowboy will perform the nuptials – with packages that start at $499. He is also a bookworm – reading up to 4 hours a day. He claims he reads no less than 50 books per year.
