Katherine Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley were enjoying a late night romp in their hot tub with his music playing in the background when a neighbor decided it was time to bring their little reunion to an end. This impromptu backyard session was a welcome home for the musician, who spends a great deal of time on the road.
They were so outraged by the intrusion by “the screaming neighbor” that they called LAPD to report harassment by the family next door. Cops went to the neighboring home first and chatted with them. Then they stopped by to report back to Kelley and Heigl.
The trouble making neighbor grabbed a camera and captured Katherine and Josh chatting it up with the officers. She was clad in a bikini and her musician husband in swim trunk.
Kelley tried to get Heigl to go back into the house but she insisted on explaining their situation to the responding officers, using hand gestures to get her point across. Too much bubbly perhaps?
After the group realized that they were being photographed, cops led them into their home to finish the conversation.
She talked about the Tuesday night incident with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Thursday. She said: “The neighbor starts screaming at us to go inside. Everyone else in the neighborhood is so awesome. We’re the most boring couple in Hollywood … the most mellow people ever and this is the most scandalous thing we’ve ever done and now there is video footage of us in our bathing suits.”
