Denise Borino-Quinn, who played the wife of a mob-boss in the award-winning HBO series The Sopranos, has died of cancer.

The Farmer Funeral Home in Roseland, New Jersey said Borino-Quinn died Wednesday at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a long battle with liver cancer. She was 46.

Borino-Quinn, who played mafia wife Ginny Sacramoni, was selected for the part in an open casting call she attended with a childhood friend.

In 2005 she married Luke Quinn, who passed away in March. She has two younger brothers, Vincent Borino and Chris Borino.
