Cher and Chaz Bono – Grauman’s Footprint and Handprint Ceremony

Cher was the main attraction yesterday at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood when her footprints, handprints and signature were cast in wet cement. On hand and posing for photos with the veteran performer were her son Chaz Bono and her mother Georgia Holt.

The time honored ceremony has been taking place since the 1920’s, with concrete blocks featuring motion picture personalities adorning the theater forecourt.

Some 200 blocks have been created over the past 90 years. Other recent notables include Robert Downey Jr and Hugh Jackman in 2009, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon and Will Smith in 2008.

Earlier in the week Cher was red carpet hot at the premiere of her new movie Burlesque — in theaters November 22.
