Prince Makes Surprise Guest Appearance on The View
Prince shocked the ladies and the audience of “The View” Thursday when he made a surprise appearance to present the co-hosts with tickets to his December 18th Madison Square Garden concert.
Prince’s appearance was a closely guarded secret between him and Whoopi Goldberg. Barbara Walters was not told of his visit until this morning.
“These are strange hours for rock stars,” the illusive performer lamented before ostensibly heading out to find breakfast.
Sherri Shepherd was visibly flustered by the surprise, telling Prince, “I have wanted to make love to you my whole life,” causing the shy musician to rush offstage.
“I have been sitting on this secret for a couple of days.” said Goldberg.
Prince will bring his ‘Welcome 2 America’ tour to Madison Square Garden for three shows on December 18, 29, and January 18.

“illusive performer”? Really?
When a person eludes – avoids, escapes, evades – he is elusive. You can also call something that is difficult to understand, identify, or remember as elusive.
Illusions can be illusive, but we more often refer to them as illusory.
Prince may be mysterious and may sometimes feel like an illusion to you, but I think you meant to say he was trying to elude Sherri Shepherd’s grasp.
