Official Engagement Photos: Prince William and Kate
The official engagement photographs of Prince William and Kate Middleton have been released and they are definitely a departure from the stiff portraits of previous Royals.
The images were taken by Mario Testino on November 25, nine days after the couple made their monumental announcement — and dare we suggest they are stunning. Prominently displayed is the gorgeous blue sapphire engagement ring that was previously owned by Princess Diana.
The future King and Queen of England, both 28, posed in the Council Chamber at St. James Palace. In one shot William is wearing jeans and a tan cashmere sweater as he lovingly embraces his fiancee.

As a photographer, I think I have some authority in saying “boooorrrrring!” Take some more interesting photos you royal dufuss. You are ACTUALLY ROYALTY so some sort of context would probably make for some amazing shots. I just hope these aren’t the only photos.
