Favre family siblings: Brandi is next to Brett …

The Favre family can’t seem to stay away from scandalous situations. This time it’s not newly retired Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre that has gotten into hot water. It is his younger sister Brandi Favre.

Brandi, 34, was one of five people arrested by narcotics agents in Diamondhead, MS, when they busted a meth lab that was operating inside a condo. Six of the building units were evacuated after agents found methamphetamine cooking in a bathtub.

The suspects were taken from the condo to nearby Hancock Medical Center where they underwent decontamination before being transported to the Hancock County Jail for booking on drug charges including manufacturing meth, possession of a controlled substance, transferring a controlled substance and generation of hazardous waste.

According to neighbors, the group had been operating for two years, with people coming and going at all hours. Some had complained of a strange odor coming from the condo. Narcotics agents indicated that what they uncovered was extremely dangerous and could have caused an explosion.

A Hazmat team removed toxic chemicals from the site after investigators documented evidence to be used against the suspects: David Logan, 40, Marty Grimes, 36, Brandi Favre, 34, Carl Wynn III, 53, and Alesha Kirkland, 25.

Brandi has a past criminal record, including an arrest for felony shoplifting of clothing from a department store in 1999. A more serious charge of unlawful use of a weapon used in a drive-by shooting at a motel occurred in 1996. She completed a program in Louisiana that allowed her to have those criminal charges erased.
