It is not uncommon for PETA to push the limits with the spokesmodels posing naked for their ad campaigns. Has the latest ad for Super Bowl XLV gone too far?

The animal rights group’s goal is to educate the world about the inhumane way that animals are treated. NBC declined to air PETA’s 2009 “Veggie Love” ad — even after being offered $3 million.

This year the ad looks just as racy. The entire commercial consists of outtakes from the 2009 ad auditions. Beautiful women are posing with a variety of vegetables and performing inappropriate acts with them.

Appropriate for a Super Bowl audience consisting of adults and their kids? Not so much …
